Mental health care goes beyond symptoms. I look at the full picture, including physical health, labs, nutrition, sleep, movement, relationships, and support systems.
About me
I firmly believe a woman's mental health is deeply connected to her body, relationships, identity, and life transitions. At Her Mental Health, I provide specialized integrative psychiatric care that focuses on the whole person, not just her symptoms.
I am a doctoral-prepared, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), with a special focus on perinatal mental health.
My career has always centered on supporting women and mothers. I have had the privilege of caring for women across many stages and settings, from supporting new mothers during their first few days in the hospital as a postpartum nurse, to providing in-home support during the early postpartum months, and offering specialized lactation and psychiatric care.
I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Missouri–Kansas City while working as a PMHNP and completed advanced training in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International. My previous graduate education in psychology has also informed the way I understand and approach mental health care.
I also have the great privilege of being a mom to two young daughters. Experiencing the unique joys and challenges of motherhood myself has deeply shaped the way I listen, connect, and care for my patients.

My approach to care
Mental health doesn't exist in isolation. Your physical health, hormones, sleep, relationships, stress, and daily life habits can all affect how you feel.
I take the time to look at the full picture to identify what is contributing to your symptoms and what can help you feel more like yourself. My approach is warm, thorough, holistic, and individualized. You will be heard, respected, and recognized as the expert in your own life.
Mental health care goes beyond symptoms. I look at the full picture, including physical health, labs, nutrition, sleep, movement, relationships, and support systems.
My goal is to give you the practical tools, education, resources, and confidence to take an active role in your well-being.
I provide thoughtful psychiatric support to help you feel like yourself again through life's transitions, from preconception to perimenopause.
